Vettaiyan global box office collection day 8 (1st extended week): Rajinikanth Key, featuring PAN Indian action drama film “Vettaiyan,” was released on 10th October and finally completed the 8-day extended week at the worldwide box office; it hit the Rs 215.6 Cr gross mark. On the other hand, at the domestic box office, it garnered Rs 118.95 Cr net in the last 7 days, followed by on day 8th (2nd Thursday), it saw a 25.58% dip and added ₹ 3.2 Cr net, and takes the total extended week domestic net collection to Rs 122.15 Cr.

According to the industry tracker Sacnilk.com report, Rajnikanth and Amitabh Bachchan, featuring entertainers, grossed Rs 208.85 Cr (India: 138.85 Cr; Overseas: 70 Cr) in the last 7 days. Following the track, on day 8, the last day of the opening week, it saw a decline, with minted Rs 3.75 Cr gross in the Indian market and Rs 3 Cr gross in the international market, bringing the total 8-day extended week global gross collection to Rs 215.6 Cr (India: 215.6 Cr; Overseas: 73 Cr). The box office trend shows it has the potential to boost back from today in the second weekend, especially as there is no major Tamil release this week.
