The Tamil Action Drama, helmed and penned by T. J. Gnanavel and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah, features Rajinikanth playing the lead role as a COP alongside different film industry actors joining forces for the film, like Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan in the crucial roles. It is also noteworthy that the two legends, Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan, are sharing screens together after 30 years of hiatus; both last worked together in Hum (1991).
