Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava and Shahid Kapoor starrer Deva final release dates out: Laxman Utekar’s much-awaited Hindi epic historical action film, “Chhaava,” was earlier slated to clash against Allu Arjun-fronted Pushpa 2: The Rule. To avoid the huge clash, the makers of the movie have decided to postpone the release date, and now the final release date is 14th February, 2025, just 5 days ahead of the significant Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti on 19 February.
On the other hand, Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde’s starrer action thriller “Deva,” earlier slated for arrival in theatres on 14th February, has now been moved up 2 weeks, to 31st January 2025.

Veteran film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh shared Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava’s final release date on his Twitter handle and wrote: “VICKY KAUSHAL – RASHMIKA – AKSHAYE KHANNA: ‘CHHAAVA’ NEW RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCEMENT… #Chhaava is now set for a theatrical release on 14 Feb 2025… The release date holds special significance since it coincides with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti on 19 Feb 2025. Produced by #DineshVijan and directed by #LaxmanUtekar, the film stars #VickyKaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.”
On the other hand, he also shared the confirmed release date of Shahid Kapoor starrer Deva and wrote: “SHAHID KAPOOR – POOJA HEGDE: ACTION-THRILLER ‘DEVA’ TO RELEASE EARLIER… #ZeeStudios and #RoyKapurFilms‘ first collaboration #Deva – featuring #ShahidKapoor, #PoojaHegde and #PavailGulati – will now arrive early: 31 Jan 2025.”

The upcoming Hindi historical action film was helmed by Laxman Utekar, based on Shivaji Sawant’s penne same-titled book. Rishi Virmani and the director himself jointly adopted the iconic plot, and Dinesh Vijan backs it. Stars including the lead, Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, and others are teamed up with the venture.
