Vidaamuyarchi advance booking day 1 (1 day to go): Lyca Productions’ upcoming much-anticipated Tamil venture, “Vidaamuyarchi,” featuring the lead Ajith Kumar, supported by Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, Arav, and Ramya Subramanian, is gearing up to hit the silver screens on 6 February 2025.
It’s based on the American director Jonathan Mostow’s film Breakdown (1997), directed and scripted by Magizh Thirumeni. The film generates well-advanced bookings in the Indian as well as in the overseas market; as per the latest report, the domestic net score hits Rs 7.87 Cr, and as of yesterday, Baap of Movies reported it has grossed $242K (Rs 2.11 Cr) alone in the North American market for premiere shows. According to the industry tracker, Sacnilk.com’s latest pre-booking update till 5th February, 10:02 AM IST, the dynamic Ajith Kumar’s Tamil action entertainer Vidaamuyarchi sells 4.26 lac (425955) tickets nationwide in Tamil 2D format, from 5612 shows, and grossed a phenomenal Rs 7.87 Cr (77972480), which hints it is all set to begin the box office journey with the biggest Tamil opening number in 2025, around Rs 15-17 Cr net in India (all the data are excluding block seats).
Vidaamuyarchi top 3 key regions pre-booking
If we take a look at the key regions for pre-booking, Chennai dominates the pre-booking with a humongous Rs 3.29 Cr from 959 shows. The second highest grossing region is Bengaluru with a noteworthy Rs 74.82 Lac from 953 shows, and the third spot is secured by the Coimbatore region with a gross number of Rs 57.8 Lac from 311 shows.
