Rathnam Box Office Collection Day 2: Actor Vishal and director Hari’s third collaboration film, “Rathnam,” following Thaamirabharani and Poojai, hit theaters this Friday, April 26th, in Tamil, and Telugu, under the banners of Stone Bench Films, Zee Studios, and Invenio Origin. Alongside Vishal, the film features Priya Bhavani Shankar, Ramachandra Raju, Samuthirakani, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Yogi Babu, Murali Sharma, Hareesh Peradi, Mohan Raman, and Vijayakumar. Despite significant hype surrounding the film, it debuted at the box office with decent numbers, and on the second day, it experienced a dip of over 13%.
Rathnam Second Day Domestic Theatres Occupancy Report
According to the industry tracker Sacnilk.com report, the Tamil venture had an overall 17.22% Tamil Occupancy across the theatres on day 2. Morning shows footfalls were 12.02%, afternoon shows footfalls were 18.89%. However, the film faced challenges in attracting audiences to evening and night shows, with occupancy rates of 14.71% and 23.26% respectively.
And in the Telugu version, the film had an overall 14.81% occupancy across the domestic theatres. Morning shows footfalls were 14.83%, afternoon shows footfalls were 16.35%, followed by evening and night shows’ footfalls were 14.37%, and 13.68% respectively.

As per the latest report by the market tracker, the film generated ₹ 2.3 Cr net on the opening day, for which the Tamil version contributed the majority number ₹ 1.5 Cr, and the Telugu version contributed ₹ 0.80 Cr roughly. Followed by the second day’s early estimates report hinting over 13% dip and minted around ₹ 2.00 Cr net, bringing the total India net by surpassing ₹ 4 Cr Mark to ₹ 4.30 Cr.
