Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani fronted the spy action thriller War 2, which racked up Rs 203.6 Cr net in the first 6 days in India. Maintaining the poor hold on day 8 (2nd Thursday), it witnessed a 14.53% decline and accumulated Rs 5 Cr net, marking the poorest number since release, and pushed the extended week’s total sum of the domestic score to Rs 208.60 Cr.
The Hindi version alone dominated the score, as it garnered Rs 150.75 Cr net in the last 7 days. Maintaining the footsteps on the 2nd Thursday, the Rs 4 Cr score took the Hindi version’s independent score to Rs 154.75 Cr.

The veteran film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh shared his view on this box office run and wrote: “#War2 has been rejected… The trends were evident during the *extended* opening weekend, but the disappointing weekday performance has sealed its fate.”
