When and Where to watch Maaman: The talented Soori led the Tamil action drama “Maaman“, directed and written by Prasanth Pandiyaraj, which debuted at the Indian box office on 16 May 2025, under the banner of Lark Studios. Including the lead, Soori, Rajkiran, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Swasika, Bala Saravanan, Baba Bhaskar, Viji Chandrasekhar, Nikhila Sankar and Geetha Kailasam played crucial roles in the film. After completing the 4 weeks of the theatrical run, gearing up to debut on a digital platform.
As Indian reputed industry tracker Sacnilk.com reported, Maaman grossed a remarkable Rs 41 Cr+ at the worldwide box office, out of the majority contributed by the domestic market. While it was made with a budget of only Rs 10 Cr, it secures over 300% return on investment (ROI) only in the theatrical, excluding the digital rights that are yet to be added.
When and Where to watch Maaman?
On 8th May, lead Soori opened up about the digital rights of Maaman; as per the report, Zee Tamil (now called Z5) acquired the OTT and digital rights of the film. Due to so many releases this week, it was slightly delayed; fans can expect this action drama from 27th June 2025 on Z5.
More About Maaman
The Tamil action drama was helmed and had a screenplay by Prasanth Pandiyaraj, a story penned by Soori, and was financed by K. Kumar. The film follows Inba (Soori) and Rekha (Aishwarya Lekshmi), who both fall in love and get married. But the plot takes a turn when their relationship goes through trouble due to Inba’s strong attachment to his nephew, Laddu (Master Prageeth).
