Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani re-release collection week 1: Ayan Mukerji directed and wrote the Hindi coming-of-age romantic comedy “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani,” which was initially released on the big screen on 31 May 2013 and secured the Super-Hit title at the box office, with a phenomenal Rs 319.6 Cr gross at the worldwide box office.
After around 12 years, on 3rd January 2025, the makers re-released the masterpiece, while there are no big releases in the Hindi belt. Over the years, the film made a loyal fan base; this re-release fuelled them to get back in action mode, and as a result, within the opening week, it scored a double-digit number in India; that’s not all; in the U.K. market, it grossed a remarkable £55K (approx. Rs 58.05 lac).

The dynamic duo Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone‘s second collaborative film, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, in its last 6 days of re-release run, generated Rs 10.75 Cr net. Following in the footsteps on day 7, it grips the tremendous hold and adds another phenomenal number, Rs 1.40 Cr, introducing a total domestic net score of Rs 12.15 Cr. Now Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’s re-release score replaced the second top all-time re-release Hindi movie, Rockstar (Rs 10 Cr), and the first spot is held by last year’s released folk horror, Tumbbad, which holds the top spot with Rs 32 Cr.
