YRF announces MARDAANI 3 featuring Rani Mukerji and others: Finally, the wait is over now; after the success of 2019’s Mardaani 2, the production house & distributor Yash Raj Films, a.k.a. YRF, announces the next installment of the franchise and the sequel, Mardaani 3, which is locked to land on the silver screens in 2026. The dynamic Rani Mukerji is back as the courageous IPS Shivani Shivaji Roy to lead the film, and Abhiraj Minawala will helm it, who last worked in Tiger 3 as the second unit director; side by side, he also worked in Gunday (2014), Fan (2016), and Sultan (2016).

The gripping action entertainer will be helmed by Abhiraj Minawala, backed by Aditya Chopra, and Rani Mukerji will reprise her character; the other star cast’s name is yet to be announced. Mukerji was last seen in 2023’s critically and commercially acclaimed real fact-based movie “Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway.” For that, she was honoured with several accolades, including the Filmfare Award for Best Actress (Critics), the IIFA Award for Best Actress, and the Zed Cine Critics Award for Best Actor—Female.
