3 Reasons Why Alia Bhatt Could Be the Perfect Addition to Kalki 2

3 Reasons Why Alia Bhatt Could Be the Perfect Addition to Kalki 2: The hype surrounding Kalki 2 is only increasing because recent reports claim that Alia Bhatt might be a part of the cast for Prabhas‘ highly anticipated sci-fi flick. Despite there being no official confirmation on the issue, this comes in the wake of rumors regarding Deepika Padukone‘s exit from the second installment. It is unclear whether Alia will replace the role played by Deepika or if she will portray a completely new character.

A Pan-India Star With a Huge Fan Following

Alia Bhatt has managed to establish herself as one of the most successful actresses in Indian cinema. While she has worked primarily in Bollywood movies, her fame has extended far beyond that and to audiences overseas. Considering the fact that Kalki 2 is going to cater to an international audience just like the first movie, having an actress of Alia’s caliber can go a long way in ensuring its success.

Prabhas’ Support Sparked Fresh Buzz

After that, rumours regarding the casting got more traction following Prabhas’ public appreciation of Alia Bhatt while releasing the trailer of her upcoming action movie, Alpha. Not being the kind of person to often post promotional content on social media, he wished Alia and her entire team luck before the launch of the movie. Alia herself thanked Prabhas for the same, making people wonder whether the two celebrities were gearing up to appear together in Kalki 2.

Experience in Action Films Makes Her A Perfect Choice

Since Kalki 2 is likely to have grand action scenes, the training that Alia went through for her upcoming movie Alpha may come to help. She seems to be geared up to play action-based characters.

For now, the people behind the movie have not confirmed anything about the rumours surrounding the casting of the actors. But until such an official announcement is made, it remains only a rumour that Alia Bhatt is going to appear in Kalki 2.
