As a result of the situation, Bruce Campbell revealed that he would have to cancel a number of convention appearances that he had lined up for 2026, revealing that he would have to make travel and work engagements take a back seat to treatment.

Despite the diagnosis, Campbell has said he remains hopeful of going on tour later in the year for his upcoming comedy-drama film, Ernie & Emma.
The actor and filmmaker has said he plans to attend screenings and answer questions from the audience at 20 Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas venues across the country in September, October, and mid-November.
