During his conversation with ANI, Govinda shared his experiences of interacting with the late actor Rajesh Khanna and fond memories of working with Dharmendra. The actor further added that Rajesh Khanna and Dharmendra stood out from the rest due to specific reasons.
Govinda stated that Rajesh Khanna and Dharmendra never consciously worked on building their image. He added that their work and success created an image, which many in the industry fail to comprehend and understand.

Govinda Recalls His First Meeting With Rajesh Khanna
During his interaction with ANI, Govinda discussed the first time he met Rajesh Khanna. The actor stated that it was in the year 1990 when he met Rajesh Khanna on the sets of “Swarg.”
The film, directed by David Dhawan, was a hit and starred Govinda and Rajesh Khanna in lead roles.
Govinda further stated that when he met Rajesh Khanna for the first time, he saw a very pure and innocent soul in him. He also shared an anecdote from that time about a conversation they had.
He revealed that Rajesh Khanna once asked him if he was somewhere other than where he was supposed to be in his career. Govinda replied that according to him, everyone had a specific destination in life according to God’s will. He further added that Rajesh Khanna told him that God knows how tall each tree has to grow and where to plant it.

Govinda added that Rajesh Khanna and Dharmendra were very particular about their work. He stated that they gave their best on every project and took it seriously to complete it to the standards.
