Salman Khan Announces ‘Battle of Galwan’ Is Now Titled ‘Maatrubhumi’
On Monday, March 16, just a month ahead of the grand theatrical debut, Salman Khan officially took to the social media handles and officially made this bold announcement, revealing that the film has been retitled as “Maatrubhumi”. The announcement was held with an intense poster, which also reveals the tagline: “May War Rest In Peace”
Reason Behind Renamed
After this sudden title change, it sparked curiosity among the moviegoers and fans: What’s the reason behind this rename? There is no official statement that has come out on the exact reason. But many critics call it “diplomatic sensitivities with China”.
Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the Hindi war action drama film was financed by Salman Khan himself, and the plot was penned by Shiv Aroor & Suresh Nair, with dialogues penned by Chintan Shah.
