“Ramayana”, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is said to be among the largest productions of Indian cinema to be seen at CinemaCon 2026. Ramayana will be among other movies from all around the world, like The Odyssey, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and Avengers: Doomsday.
The movie has already received great attention owing to its huge budget and mythological story. Reportedly, the poster of Ramayana – with Ranbir Kapoor as Rama and Yash as Ravana – has been revealed.

However, it cannot be denied that S. S. Rajamouli’s upcoming movie titled “Varanasi”, which received widespread global hype following the release of its title teaser and vision, was left out of the lineup for CinemaCon.

Given that the movie is set to release on April 7, 2027, Varanasi can still do some promotion. According to industry experts, the movie may have chosen not to attend CinemaCon to give itself time to think about how to promote it globally.
