Even after completing the second week, the film shows exceptional momentum in the third weekend. On the 3rd Saturday, garnering strong audience appreciation and sustained word-of-mouth the RJ Balaji-directed and -acted film recorded an impressive 58.46% spike compared to the previous day and pushed the Indian net total comfortably over ₹176 crore.

After maintaining a fantastic hold during the first two weeks and its third Friday, Surya‘s Karuppu has garnered ₹ 171.4 crore net at the Indian box office. Capitalized on the weekend rush and delivered a phenomenal surge, registering ₹5.15 crore net across 3,292 shows on day 16. The figure has been led by a strong Tamil score of ₹4.45 crore in 2,317 shows and a Telugu contribution of ₹70 lakh in 975 shows.
After a 16-day run, Karuppu’s Indian total net figure stands at ₹176.55 crore, powered by a strong 3rd weekend boost. Despite the new big Tamil releases, the strong dominance shows Karuppu continues to attract audiences in large numbers, a strong theatrical pull.
