Sardar 2 Release Date Announced: Karthi and Rajisha Vijayan, key stars of the much-awaited spy action thriller “Sardar 2,” have officially received the release date, which serves as a sequel to 2022’s Hit Sardar. The makers of the film have announced that the film will hit the silver screens in September 2026, a straight clash against Vijay Deverakonda & Rashmika Mandanna‘s ‘Ranabaali‘. That’s not all; the film might be indirectly impacted by Yash’s ‘Toxic,’ which is set to arrive weeks earlier on August 26.

Karthi took to his social media handles and officially confirmed that his next film, Sardar 2, is scheduled to release worldwide on September 10, 2026. He made this huge announcement through a short announcement video, which leaves a short glimpse of his powerful character, and in the background something blasts, which shows his character’s reach.
It’s worth adding that Karthi will play dual roles in the film as Chandra Bose, a.k.a. Agent Sardar and Agent Vijay Prakash.

The Tamil spy action thriller was directed by P. S. Mithran, while the plot was penned by Rathna Kumar, Ashameera Aiyappan, and Vignesh Muniyandi. S. Lakshman Kumar & Ishan Saksena jointly backed it.
