Relief for Allu Arjun: There has been considerable respite for actor Allu Arjun in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case. This is because the Nampally Criminal Court has granted permission for the actor to participate in future court hearings virtually. It is being made possible when the Pushpa star is busy with the shoot of his upcoming movie ‘Raaka‘ in Mumbai.

Virtual Presence Granted to Allu Arjun in Sandhya Theatre Stampede Case
On Monday, July 6, the lawyer representing Allu Arjun told the court that due to his shoot commitments in Mumbai, it was difficult for him to be present physically. After considering the application, the court allowed him to attend the court hearings virtually whenever necessary.
500-Page Chargesheet Distributed
During the same hearing, the public prosecutor handed over copies of the 500-page chargesheet to all 23 accused in the case. As per the report, this chargesheet contains information about the lapses committed by the theatre management and also Allu Arjun‘s team members.
The probe has concentrated on crowd management, security arrangements, and plans made for the screening of the movie.

Hearing Has Been Rescheduled to July 29
Although things have been moving ahead, the hearing was delayed because some of the accused were absent due to personal issues. As all the 23 accused need to be present at the hearing for its continuation, the court has rescheduled the hearing for July 29, 2026.
The next hearing will prove to be an important milestone in the process of litigation, as the court will move forward towards studying the chargesheet and listening to arguments from all sides.

The order of the court allowing Allu Arjun to appear virtually has provided some relief from a logistical point of view, but the actor still stands as one of the accused in the case.
