Amit Rai Reacts to Paresh Rawal’s Credit Claim: The OMG 2 controversy has made a comeback nearly three years after the release of the film. The director Amit Rai has vehemently denied claims made by veteran actor Paresh Rawal that the latter had written the story of the film.
Amit Rai on Rawal’s Claims
This row started when Paresh Rawal said in a podcast that the story of ‘OMG 2’ was written by him. Thereafter, in a statement issued by the producer of the film, it came to light that Paresh Rawal was neither the story nor the screenwriter of the film. It was further revealed that Rawal had joined the film as a producer.

Why the Credit Issue Emerged
One of the major questions raised by Amit Rai is related to the timing of the dispute. Rai could not understand why Paresh Rawal did not mention any problem connected to writing when the movie OMG 2 was released and started talking about it three years later.
