The 2.47-long “Hi” trailer begins with a character, Mayilsamy, played by Kavin, whose innocent behaviour makes him face repeated rejection in his search for love. But after Nayanthara’s character Devayani arrives in his life, his life takes a positive turn.
After Devayani found Mayilsamy attempting suicide, she started motivating him—”The world is filled with so many conflicts, but you decided to die because just a girl rejected you. Do you have any conscience?”
Devayani’s care and encouragement gradually bring a positive change in Mayilsamy, pushing him to fall in love with her. Following the trailer ended on an emotional note, leaving viewers invested in their journey and curious to discover how their story unfolds.

Written & directed by Vishnu Edavan, the upcoming Tamil entertainer was backed by Vignesh Shivan, Nayanthara, and SS Lalit Kumar. Rajesh Shukla handled the cinematography, which was edited by Philomin Raj, and the music was composed by Jen Martin.
Apart from the lead duo, the film also stars Bhagyaraj, Radhika Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Vtv Ganesh, Sathyan, Amrudha Srinivasan, Aadhithya Kadhir, Kureshi, Fepsi Vijayan, Renji Panicker, Kaviya Arivumani, and Mirchy Kemy in important roles.
