Toxic Hits by 60% Crash
After registering an earth-shattering opening with ₹137 crore gross worldwide, Geetu Mohandas-directed Toxic witnessed a sharp decline of around 60% on day 2. This crash was fueled by mixed word of mouth, making it difficult to sustain the same level of momentum on Day 2. However, there is still hope from the Raksha Bandhan holiday and weekend days. The current trend indicates Yash’s Toxic is likely to conclude the 5 days of the extended weekend beyond ₹300 crore at the worldwide box office.
Yash’s Next Projects
After Toxic, Yash is gearing up for his next magnum opus projects, the mythological films Ramayana: Part 1 and Part 2, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. In these humongous ₹4,000 crore budgeted two-part projects, Yash is also taking on financial responsibilities as a producer and investor, alongside his acting role.
