After opening with a fantastic ₹3 crore+ net, the film recorded a solid 39.39% surge on Saturday, driven by strong word of mouth across Tamil Nadu and weekend momentum.

Riding high on its popular soundtrack and comedy-driven narrative, Meesaya Murukku 2 has successfully surpassed the ₹7 crore net mark and is headed to secure the double digits figure even earlier, concluding the opening weekend.

Day 2 Box Office

Adhi, Ketika Sharma, Chaithra J Achar, Ramya Ranganathan, and Harshath Khan starrer ‘Meesaya Murukku 2’ reportedly collected ₹4.60 crore net on day 2, across 1,684 shows. This Saturday figure is worth noting that the film saw a 39.39% rise compared to the debut figure of ₹3.30 crore. The Saturday garnered a sharp boost in footfalls across both urban multiplexes and single-screen centers in Tamil Nadu.

This Saturday’s strong surge took the domestic net tally to ₹7.90 crore. On Sunday another powerful push is on the way and is expected to conclude the opening weekend in the range of ₹12-13 crore.
