Jailer 2 Censor Certificate & Runtime Out: Director Nelson Dilipkumar reunites with the superstar Rajinikanth for the big-budget mass action film “Jailer 2“, which is scheduled to hit the theatres worldwide on 15th October 2026. Ahead of the grand theatrical debut, the film has officially received a green signal from the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification). The Tamil film officially granted a ‘U/A’ certificate, debunking earlier speculation that the intense violence and dark action sequences might draw an ‘A’ rating.

Official Runtime Locked

According to the official update by the makers, Jailer 2 has completed the censor formalities on Tuesday, October 6. As per the report, the film has been awarded a ‘U/A‘ certificate and got approval of a crisp 2 hour 45 minute (165 minutes). Despite massive star-studded and long charts of cameo appearances, the fast-paced runtime was designed to deliver a crisp, edge-of-the-seat experience.
