West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced the verdict at the state chancery on Monday. The announcement came minutes after Mamata Banerjee claimed that, “the BJP was funding a film on Bengal on the lines of Kashmir Files”. (According to the India Today Report)
The reason for banning this film is because, since the trailer was released, it has caused controversy in several states and West Bengal. She doesn’t want anything like this to happen in the state, so in her presence, she makes a verdict to have Ban film the Kerala story.
