Ayushmann Khurrana, Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, and Vijay Raaz starrer Dream Girl Sequel acquired a Rs. 100 crore net collection at the domestic box office in only 19 days, despite one of Shah Rukh Khan’s biggest films, “Jawan,” arriving on September 7th. On the other hand, August 11th released Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel fronted “Gadar 2‘s” continuation havoc at the box office.
Dream Girl 2 Surpasses Rs 100 Cr Mark at Domestic Box office Only in 19 Days; Despite Gadar 2 and Jawan’s Massive Run
Dream Girl 2 was opened with a fantastic ₹ 10.69 Cr nett, which broke the 2019’s Dream Girl movie’s opening day collection, which was opened with ₹ 10.05 Cr nett at the Indian box office; on the second day, the film jumped 31.15%, with ₹ 14.02 Cr; and on the first Sunday, the comedy-drama film garnered the highest single-day collection till date, with ₹ 16 Cr, which brings the total beginning weekend collection to ₹ 40.71 Cr nett.
After generating ₹ 67 Cr nett in the first week, the film added another ₹ 28.66 Cr (-57.22%) in the second week, and after overcoming 19 days, the film stands at ₹ 100.51 Cr nett at the domestic box office, ₹ 14 Cr gross in overseas, and ₹ 132.6 Cr total worldwide.
