Jigarthanda Double X Day 4 Box Office Collection: Karthik Subbaraj’s much-anticipated Tamil periodic action comedy film Jigarthanda Double X finally arrived in theatres on November 10th, this Diwali. Prior to the film’s release, it created lots of buzz on the Internet due to the massive success of the previous instalment, Jigarthanda (2014).
After it was released, received positive feedback from the audience and critics. The period action film debuted at box office with a decent number of ₹ 2.96 Cr, but the havoc began after the second day, with the impressive ₹ 5.21 Cr. On day 3, opening Sunday, the film racked the highest number till date of ₹ 7.4 Cr, which brought the total opening weekend collection to ₹ 15.57 Cr. And in the Telugu (2D) format, the film had an overall 21.70% occupancy. Morning shows footfalls were 17.22%, afternoon shows footfalls were 23.74%, and simultaneously, evening and night shows footfalls were 20.47% and 25.37%, respectively.

In 3 days, the Raghava Lawrence and S. J. Suryah starrer film grossed ₹ 20.75 Cr globally, and after 4 days, the film stood at ₹ 22.82 Cr net, ₹ 26.80 Cr gross in India, followed by in the overseas market ₹ 3.00 Cr, bringing 4 days of global box office collection to ₹ 29.80 Cr.
