Kangana Ranaut directed, written, and led the long-awaited biographical political drama “Emergency,” whose filming began in July 2022 and ended in January 2023. After many time delays, makers were scheduled to release on June 14, 2024, but once again, the makers postponed.

On May 15, a month prior to the theatrical release date, production house Manikarnika Films took to Twitter and wrote: “Our hearts are filled with love pouring in for our queen Kangana Ranaut.
As she prioritises her duty to the nation and her commitment to serve the country, the release date of our much awaited film
“Emergency’ has been postponed.
We promise to update you soon with a new release date.
Thank you for your continued support.

More About Emergency Movie
The Hindi-language biography and political drama was helmed, produced, and led by the queen of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut, who also produced the film with co-producer Renu Pitti. The features are ensemble, with Kangana, Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman, and Satish Kaushik in prominent roles. The cinematography was handled by Tetsuo Nagata, the music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, and it was edited by Rameshwar S. Bhagat.
