Kalam-The Missile Man of India movie announced at 78th Cannes: The National Award-winning actor & director Dhanush & Om Raut collaborated for the high-octane biopic of India’s former president & one of the greatest aerospace scientists, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, “Kalam – The Missile Man of India”. A Tribute to the “Missile Man of India”
This film is going to showcase the remarkable journey of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, which will focus on his early life, effort, hardship, fortitude, luck and rise from an aerospace engineer to becoming the “Missile Man of India”. Side by side, it also focuses on his artistic side as a poet, teacher, and philosopher and is based on the autobiography of Kalam, “Wings of Fire“.

After announcing it at Cannes, Om Raut took to Twitter and officially announced it with a brand new poster and gave the caption: “From Rameswaram to Rashtrapati Bhavan, the journey of a legend begins… India’s Missile Man is coming to the silver screen. The Hindi biopic inspiring drama is to be helmed by Adipurush’s director Om Raut, who received the 68th National Film Awards for Best Popular Film for the film Tanhaji, with a screenplay penned by Saiwyn Quadras and backed by “The Kashmir Files” and “The Delhi Files” producer Abhishek Agarwal, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Anil Sunkara. The film is gearing up to release soon, under the banners of T-Series Films, Abhishek Agarwal Arts, and AK Entertainments Banner.
