On May 31st, two weeks prior to the theatrical release, the film received approval from the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification).

As per the last report by the film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh, Chandu Champion on May 31st got a green signal from the censor board, received a U/A certificate, and got approval for 143 minutes (2 hours and 23 minutes) of theatrical runtime.
Chandu Champion Advance Booking Opens Now!
Today, on June 9th, 5 days prior to the theatrical release, actor Kartik Aaryan shared a video on his official Twitter handle where the trailer for the film was displayed in Butj Khalife and also commenced the advance booking. The film has the potential to surpass all the box office records of Hindi biopic films released in 2024 to date, like Srikanth, Main Atal Hoon, Maidaan, and Swatantrya Veer Savarkar.
