Sitaare Zameen Par trailer release pushed from 8th May, in respect to Operation Sindoor: Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh‘s long-awaited sports comedy-drama “Sitaare Zameen Par“, a sequel to 2007’s Taare Zameen Par, created immense buzz from the announcement day, followed last week by the first official poster of the film, fuelling the anticipations of the movie lovers for the project. Post-inaugural poster revelation, makers announced the trailer for the film set to drop on 8th May (Wednesday), but as per the internal industry source, the audience needs to wait for a few more days, in respect to Operation Sindoor (Indian retaliation against terrorism in Pakistan for the 2025 Pahalgam attack) makers decided to postpone the trailer release date.

As we know that, in retaliation for the 22 April 2025 Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian Army launched Operation Sindoor on 7th May 2025; in this huge national emergency situation, the makers of Sitaare Zameen Par took the bold decision to postpone the trailer release date. Though there has been no official announcement come out, the new release date will be announced soon.
It’s worth adding that, with the film Aamir Khan Productions is to introduce 10 newcomers in the film, who are Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar.

The sequel to 2007’s film Taare Zameen Par was helmed by R. S. Prasanna, and Divy Nidhi Sharma adopted the film from Javier Fesser’s 2018 Spanish film Champions, locked to release on 20 June 2025, under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions.
