Sarfira Box Office Collection Day 1 (Early Estimates): Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited film “Sarfira,” the remake of 2020’s Soorarai Pottru, was released today, July 12, under the banners Abundantia Entertainment, 2D Entertainment, and Cape of Good Films. Including Khildi Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Radhika Madan also teamed up for the film. The film was helmed and penned by Sudha Kongara, who also directed the 2020’s Tamil original film.

The Hindi drama film grossed a poor ₹ 69.99 lac from the advance booking for the opening day after selling 34373 tickets, despite being the most anticipated Hindi film, according to an IMDb report early in the release. The film received immensely positive word-of-mouth.
Based on the reviews and the theatre occupancy report, it is hinting that Sarfira will open with a decent number of ₹ 2–2.7 Cr net in India, quite similar to 2023’s Selfiee‘s opening collection (₹ 2.55 Cr). Side by side, the film faces off against rivals “Kalki 2898 AD,” “Indian 2,” and “Kill,” anticipating to cross the ₹ 7 crore net mark within the opening weekend.
