Vedaa global box office collection day 1: Nikkhil Advani directed the much-awaited Hindi action drama film “Vedaa,” which was released on August 15th, coincidentally on the occasion of Independence Day, and featuring John Abraham, Sharvari, Abhishek Banerjee, and Ashish Vidyarthi in the principal roles. 

Despite a decent advance booking score, due to the national holiday, the film successfully attracts action-packed movie lovers with its gripping storyline. As a result, according to the production house Zee Studios latest update, the action drama opened with a handsome ₹ 6.75 Cr net in India and secured the top 11th spot among the highest Hindi net openers in 2024, just behind Rajkummar Rao and Jahnvi Kapoor, who fronted Mr. and Mrs. Mahi (₹ 6.85 crore).

John Abraham’s action drama, despite clashing against the biggest Hindi film of 2024, Stree 2, due to its impressive storyline, which is inspired by the true incident, successfully grossed ₹ 8.04 Cr alone from the domestic market, but the overseas market performance is the main setback for the film, which was shockingly poor around ₹ 0.08 Cr gross. Now the total opening day global box office collection stands at ₹ 8.12 Cr gross. Expectations are high for the weekend.
