T. J. Gnanavel directed and co-wrote the actioner, financed by Subaskaran Allirajah, and slated to be released on 10th October, coincidentally on the occasion of Dussahra, under the banner Lyca Productions.

The 2.39-minute trailer introduced encounter specialist IPS Ajith (RajiniKanth), and he is back when the police department is facing huge challenges for a murder case of a young woman. The murderer is so powerful that the entire police department fails to take strong action against this culprit. After handed over this case to IPS Ajith, it took a critical turn; he decided to encounter him within 3 days to bring the pride of the department, but he was shocked when he went to the deep on this case and noticed a big man is behind this crime.
On the other hand, the superior postholder police office, Sathyadev (Amitabh Bachchan), takes a pragmatic approach for this case. But IPS Ajith is strongly determined to encounter this culprit at any cost. Who is this murderer? Who is the big face behind the culprit? Can Ajith destroy this entire gang of murderers? All the answers will unfold on the big screens from September 10th.
