Vettaiyan advance booking day 1: T. J. Gnanavel directed and co-wrote the highly anticipated action drama film “Vettaiyan,” gearing up for the grand release on 10 October in this Dussehra. The film has overtaken the massive Rs 10 Cr mark in pre-booking for the opening day; still a day to go. Huge star-studded stars teamed up with the venture are Rajnikanth in the titular role, alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan in the crucial roles. This film marks the 33 years after the veteran duo Rajnikanth and Amitabh Bachchan collaborated; both were last seen in 1991’s “Hum.”

According to the industry tracker Sacnilk.com’s latest update, Rajinikanth’s action drama sold 526085 tickets for the opening day pre-booking and grossed Rs 10.33 Cr (103268774) from 7869 shows nationwide (excluding blockseats). The report also added the Tamil version dominated the early booking with Rs 9.65 Cr (96519019.29) gross after selling the majority of 481039 tickets, followed by the Telugu version, which sold 44620 tickets and grossed Rs 66.70 Cr (6670034), and the Hindi version, under-performing, sold only 426 tickets and minted Rs 79721.
