On the other hand, Rahi Gambhir, aka Bunny (Varun Dhawan), is a stuntman working on a feature film. After realising the challenges of Honey, he offers her a job, and she gets the fast task to do: get black electric equipment from a mentioned man. Now Honey is facing that complicated phase of life, where she even doesn’t imagine the risk of her work; alongside whether it is the right or wrong path, she is doing it because she broke from inside.
And the next time frame starts from 2000; as we have seen in the trailer, she has a daughter named Nadia (Kashvi Majmundar) with Bunny, but she living alone with her daughter in a hill town. Now Honey became an undercover agent; knowing the risk of her job, she teaches many tactics as much as possible to save herself in complicated time. Honey and Bunny’s lives created that situation when both had to join to protect their adorable daughter Nadia. Do both of them want to reunite? What was the reason behind their separation? How will they protect Nadia? Watch Citadel Honey Bunny on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video to know in depth.
Citadel-Honey Bunny series review
Raj & DK once again stunt us with the phenomenal direction in the shows, but unfortunately the plot, written by Sita R. Menon and the director duo, is the key lacking point. The action-packed sequences are well crafted, and the background music in the show makes it more gripping for the audience.
The dynamic duo Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu delivers a remarkable work with the series; alongside Nadia, played by the adorable Kashvi Majmundar, is the soul of the series. Alongside the other star casts like Sikandar Kher, Saqib Saleem, Kay Kay Menon, and others, they are portrayed well. In the series, both the time frames are so randomly crafted that some time viewers fail to recognise the exact time period.
Citadel-Honey Bunny Verdict
Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu fronted Citadel-Honey Bunny, the inaugural season of the Citadel Hindi, offers a gripping action-packed spy thriller show, but the plot and screenplay could be improved. Overall, this is a one-time-watch series.
