Thug Life Release Date Teaser out: Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies, and Red Giant Movies banners produced PAN Indian action entertainer “Thug Life,” one of the most anticipated films in 2025, now all set to land in cinemas on June 5, 2025. Makers officially announced the theatrical release date of the film today (7th November) with an intense glimpse on the occasion of Kamal Haasan‘s 70th birthday. The veteran Mani Ratnam is back in the director seat after 2023’s critically and commercially acclaimed epic historical action drama “Ponniyin“ Selvan: II.” Stars are teamed up with Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan TR, Trisha, Ashok Selvan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, Abhirami, and Nasser in pivotal roles.

On 7th November, Thursday, Kamal Haasan took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle and unveiled his next Thug Life’s release date teaser and captioned it: “Every role is an evolution, every film a journey.” The glimpse showcases dual looks of Kamal Haasan as Rangaraya Sakthivel Nayakar from the film; one is the ferocious with long hair, and another one is a young with properly groomed.

The PAN Indian action-packed drama film was helmed by Mani Ratnam, who also co-wrote the plot with the multi-talented Kamal Haasan, and backed by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R. Mahendran, & Siva Ananth. Ravi K. Chandran, featuring as the cinematographer, editing handling by Sreekar Prasad, and music composed by the one and only AR Rahman.
