The Sabarmati Report box office collection day 1: Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Amul V Mohan, and Anshul Mohan jointly backed Hindi drama thriller “The Sabarmati Report,” based on the true incident of 27 February 2002’s Godhra train burning incident, was released on 15 November. This is marked as the lead Vikrant Massey’s first theatrical appearance after 2023’s hugely successful movie “12th Fail,” along with Raashii Khanna and Riddhi Dogra also teamed up with the film. As anticipated earlier, the drama thriller debuted at box office with a decent Rs 1.1 Cr net in India, similar to 12th Fail, but not good enough for the venture.

According to the latest box office update, it generated, as per the box office trend hints, Rs 1.1 Cr; the key centres contributed significantly on the beginning day, as we infer that due to the reshoot, the cost for the film is high. To recover the cost, it has to perform strongly in the weekend days. As it’s the first theatrical appearance of actor Vikrant Massey, anticipation is high from the film, but it fails to meet the expectation.
