Laapataa Ladies Japan box office: Kiran Rao, directorial 2023’s critically and commercially acclaimed comedy drama “Laapataa Ladies,” adopted from Biplab Goswami’s “Two Brides,” showcases the tale of two newlywed brides who got exchanged while travelling to their husbands’ homes. After it officially was India’s pick for the Oscar 2025 entry, it was rereleased in Japan on October 4th. As per the latest Japan box office update coming out, it already beats Prabhas fronted Salaar‘s lifetime gross in the region and is gearing up to surpass Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan.

As per the film critic and business analyst Nishit Shaw report, Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Chhaya Kadam, and Ravi Kishan, featuring Laapataa Ladies, after 45 days run at the Japanese box office, surpasses the massive ¥50M (approx. Rs 2.71 Cr) milestone, surpasses Salaar (¥46M), and is all set to beat Shah Rukh Khan fronted Pathaan’s lifetime gross of ¥50M.
