Dragon domestic box office collection day 9: AGS Entertainment produced the critically acclaimed Tamil coming-of-age comedy-drama “Dragon,” which was released in the big screens last week, on 21 February, under the direction and writing of Ashwath Marimuthu. In the second weekend, despite new releases, it grips the tremendous hold; notably, on the 2nd Saturday (day 9), it scores Rs 8 Cr+ net, which is higher than the opening day score, and the total number breaches the Rs 60 Cr mark. Stars of the film are ensemble Pradeep Ranganathan in titular role, supported by Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, George Maryan, K. S. Ravikumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Mysskin.

According to the industry tracker Sacnilk.com report, Pradeep Ranganathan’s Tamil film Dragon earned Rs 55 Cr net in the last 8 days of its domestic run. Following the weekend upraising trend on day 9, it boosted back by 80.85% and accumulated the 3rd highest number since its release, Rs 8.5 Cr (Tamil: 6.85 Cr; Telugu: 1.65 Cr). After concluding the 9-day run, the total domestic score stands at Rs 63.5 Cr; out of this score, the Tamil version alone contributed Rs 51.55 Cr net.
