Thug Life box office collection day 3: Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan, Trisha Krishnan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Ashok Selvan and others star in the pan-Indian gangster drama “Thug Life“, which was released on big screens on 5th June 2025, under the direction of veteran Mani Ratnam.
Despite the huge star-studded cast, the poor word of mouth acutely impacted the box office run, resulting after opening with a double-digit number; from the second day, it crashed vertically and maintained a poor hold despite being weekend days. On day 3 (Saturday), the gangster film saw a poor 5% rise, and the total India score only reached the Rs 30 Cr mark.

According to the industry tracker Sacnilk.com report, Mani Ratnam & Kamal Haasan’s collaboration film after many years opened with Rs 15.5 Cr net, followed by day 2, which saw a huge 53.87% crash, adding Rs 7.15 Cr, and day 3’s (1st Saturday) early estimate hinting it saw a poor spike despite had a Eid Al-Adha, a.k.a. Bakra Eid‘s holiday, and added in the range of Rs 7-7.75 Cr net, bringing the total Indian score to Rs 29.65-30.4 Cr.
The latest trend is also not showing any sign of notable rising back even on Sunday; it is all set to end the extended weekend with a decent Rs 35-40 Cr, followed by the Monday hold, which will be a crucial indication for the film.
