Metro In Dino box office collection day 1: The talented filmmaker and writer Anurag Basu returns after a long four-year hiatus with the much-awaited “Metro In Dino,” a sequel to 2007’s Life In A… Metro, which was released on the silver screens on 4th July 2025. The star-studded ensemble with the film are Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Aditya Roy Kapur, and many others. T-Series Films & Anurag Basu Productions jointly backed the Hindi romantic drama sequel Metro In Dino, which, as per the early estimates report, generates in the range of Rs 2.63 Cr net, which clearly hints that the opening day final box office number will be in the range of Rs 3-3.5 Cr net, resulting in a failure to secure a spot among the top 10 Hindi opening films in 2025 (most probably it will secure the 15th spot).
As per the Pinkvilla exclusive report, the film was made with a budget of Rs 100 Cr, which is considered an ideal figure compared to the huge star-studded cast, but the opening day earnings fell short of expectations despite receiving positive reviews from moviegoers and critics. The weekend days surge will be crucial for the film.
