After the festive season was over, riding on the weekend boost on day 3 (1st Saturday), it registered the second biggest single-day worldwide haul since release, Rs 82.25 Cr. Following the weekend upward trend, the 1st Saturday (day 3) delivered an excelent 21.15% boost and hauled over half a century, Rs 55 Cr (Kannada: 14.5 Cr), which is happening for the second time with the film after opening day.
This pushed the 3-day domestic total to approximately Rs 162.25 Cr (Kannada: 47.6 Cr). With momentum running high, all eyes are now on Sunday’s spike. It will be interesting to see whether Kantara: Chapter 1 can surpass its massive opening day score or not.
