Akhanda 2 box office collection day 1: Boyapati Sreenu directed and wrote the Telugu mass action drama film “Akhanda 2: Thaandavam“, led by Nandamuri Balakrishna, which, after overcoming the financial issues, finally arrived on the silver screens on 12th December. On the opening day, the film hauled in over Rs 22 Cr net, setting the stage for a thunderous box office run.

According to the industry tracker Sacnilk.com report, Akhanda 2 has debuted with Rs 22.53 Cr net on the opening day in India, out of which Rs 21.95 Cr net was contributed by the Telugu version alone, and became the 7th top Telugu opening movie in 2025, just behind War 2‘s Telugu score of Rs 22.75 Cr. Reportedly, the film managed Rs 7.8 Cr net in its paid preview on Thursday, pushing its total domestic earnings to Rs 30.53 Cr.
Made on a massive budget of Rs 150-200 Cr, Akhanda 2’s latest box office trend indicates that, by the end of the opening weekend, the film is on track to surpass Rs 65 Cr+.
