Amaran Day Wise Box Office Collection Report: Rajkumar Periasamy directed the high-octane biographical action war film “Amaran,” adapted from Shiv Aroor, and Rahul Singh’s written book series “India’s Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes,” based on the real event, hit the worldwide cinemas on 31st October, on the occasion of Diwali. Stars joining hands with the film are the dynamic Sivakarthikeyan in the key role of Major Mukund Varadarajan, alongside Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Lallu, Shreekumar, Shyam Mohan, and Shyamaprasad, who are played important roles in the venture.
The film revolves around Mukun, a brave soldier from the 44th Rashtriya Rifles Battalion in Jammu and Kashmir, which showcases his sacrifice for the country. It debuted at the box office with an impressive ₹ 21.4 Cr net in India; out of the collection, the Tamil version alone contributed ₹ 17.45 Cr net and secured the 3rd spot among the top Tamil net opener films of 2024, just behind Rajinikanth-fronted action drama Vettaiyan (₹ 27.75 Cr).
