Based on the industry tracker Sacnilk.com report, Ranbir Kapoor fronted PAN India film was opened with ₹ 63.8 Cr net, followed by impressive first 8 days riot at domestic market racked outstanding ₹ 360.53 Cr net, and on day 9, for the weekend holiday, the action thriller sees 51.37% growth and minted ₹ 34.74 Cr [Hi: 32.47 Cr ; Te: 2 Cr; Ta: 0.25 Cr; Ka: 0.01 Cr; Mal: 0.01 Cr] net, bringing the total 9 days India net collection to ₹ 395.27 Cr, Getting Ready to enter the ₹ 400 Cr Club.

Animal had an overall 49.12% Hindi occupancy across the Indian theatres on day 9. Morning shows footfalls were 31.10%, afternoon shows footfalls were 51.81%, followed by evening and night shows footfalls gained well, 51.29%, and 62.29%.
In the Telugu version, there was an overall 40.36% occupancy. Morning shows footfalls were 26.98%, afternoon shows footfalls were 45.60%, followed by evening and night shows footfalls of 38.38% and 50.49%.
And in the Tamil version, the film had an overall occupancy of 33.25%. Morning shows footfalls were 32.78%, afternoon shows footfalls were 32.68%, followed by evening and night shows footfalls of 30.87% and 36.68%, respectively.

Animal finally entered the phenomenal ₹ 600.00 Cr Club at the global box office in 8 days, for which the massive collection in the Indian market contributed ₹ 429.20 Cr gross and the overseas market contributed ₹ 170.80 Cr. After overcoming Day 8 for the weekend holiday, the film introduced fantastic growth at the domestic box office, bringing the total Indian gross to ₹ 470.50 Cr and the overseas market collection to ₹ 189.50 Cr, accumulating the total worldwide gross of ₹ 660.00 Cr.
