Assi Trailer Launches: The makers of Assi, directed by Anubhav Sinha, officially unveiled the trailer, which focuses the brutal truth of India– reportedly “80 rapes per day, every day across the country.” The film is locked to release on the big screens on February 20, 2026.

The 2.52-minute-long trailer sheds light on the dark side of India, highlighting the alarming number of rape cases reported every day, out of which the majority of cases are delayed for a long time.
Gulshan Kumar & T-Series Present “Assi” inspired by one such harrowing case. The trailer indicates that the film will revolve around a happy family, but a sudden incident ruins the family, including of their single kid.
