Bastar Trailer Out: The creators of “The Kerala Story” have presented another narrative based on real events, this time revolving around the tragic incident at Bastar district in Chhattisgarh, where 76 Indian CRPF personnel were killed by the Maoist terror group. In order to portray the story in a more authentic manner, the controversial filmmaking trio of 2023—director and co-writer Sudipto Sen, producer and co-writer Vipul Amrutlal Shah, and lead actress Adah Sharma—have collaborated once again. This action-packed venture is set to hit the silver screens on March 15.

The trailer delves into the narrative of the world’s third-largest terror group, Maoists, who brutally attacked and killed 76 Indian CRPF Jawans. Furthermore, they mercilessly executed numerous individuals from the Bastar village on the streets. The trailer also discloses a shocking statistic: while India lost 8,738 jawans between the four Indo-Pak wars, within the country, Naxalites claimed the lives of over 15,000 jawans. Adah Sharma, portraying IPS Neerja Madhvan, exhibits a resolute determination to eradicate the Maoists at any cost. The film unfolds the question of whether Neerja succeeds in this mission, with many more stories set to be unveiled.

The Hindi action-packed film is helmed by Sudipto Sen, with a story penned by Amarnath Jha and co-written by the director himself and producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah.
