On Saturday, January 31st, 2026, the veteran film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh took to the X (formerly Twitter) handle and announced that Ananya Panday and Lakshya’s first-time collaboration film, “Chand Mera Dil”, is slated to release in theatres on May 8, 2026. This film will mark Lakshya’s second big-screen return, after the critically acclaimed film “Kill“. He was also seen in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut Netflix original show “The Ba***ds of Bollywood“.
Directed by Vivek Soni, the romantic musical drama film was backed by Karan Johar, and cinematography was handled by Debojeet Ray. Including the lead duo, also featuring Pratham Rathod, Aastha Singh, and others.
