Demon Slayer-Infinity Castle advance booking in India: The Japanese animated dark fantasy action film “Demon Slayer-Infinity Castle” is bracing for a grand Indian theatrical debut on 12th September 2025. As per the latest advance booking report, the Haruo Sotozaki-directed film has already sold 100K tickets for the opening day, setting the stage for a historical opening in India by a non-Hollywood film. The animation fantasy actioner is based on the “Infinity Castle” arc of the 2016–20 manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba by Koyoharu Gotouge. It was already released in Japan on July 18, 2025, by Aniplex & Toho and is now gearing up to be released worldwide by Sony Pictures.

According to the reputed Indian market tracker Sacnilk.com, the Japanese animated dark fantasy action film has already sold a massive 100K tickets in India for the opening day, still around a day ahead of release. That’s not all – impressively, the inaugural weekend ticket sales have crossed 250K tickets across the three leading national chains – PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis – which reportedly grossed a staggering $1.7 million+ (Rs 15 Cr), which clearly hints that a thunderous opening is loading, after a remarkable Japanese box office score of $302.2 million (Rs 3663 Cr).

The animation film’s demand has unexpectedly boosted after the humongous box office success of the Indian Mahavatar Narsimha, based on the ten avatars of Lord Vishnu. Which is holding the position of top domestic and worldwide grossing animated film of all time produced by India.
