Today, on Tuesday, February 3, ahead of the teaser launch, the makers have unveiled a first-look poster of Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Dhurandhar 2), which officially confirmed the OTT rights of Dhurandhar 2, has been shifted from Netflix to JioHotstar for all languages for a handsome price.
The reason behind this huge OTT platform shift surprised the fans, despite Netflix holding a global reach. Still, there is no clear reason revealed by the makers.
Notably, the satellite rights are acquired by Star Group (as per a reliable source). For the Hindi version, Dhurandhar 2 will be telecast on Star Gold, and for the Telugu version, it will be on Star Maa.
Directed and written by Aditya Dhar, the spy action thriller sequel was backed by Jyoti Deshpande, Lokesh Dhar, and the director himself. All the crucial portrayals – Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun – are set to reprise their roles. Cinematography was handled by Vikash Nowlakha, editing by Shivkumar V. Panicker, and music & BGM contributed by Shashwat Sachdev.
