Dune Part 2 Global Box Office Collection Day 2: Denis Villeneuve both directed and screen-played the highly anticipated American epic sci-fi sequel to 2021’s Dune, titled “Dune: Part 2,”initially premiered on February 6, 2024, at the Auditorio Nacional (National Auditorium) in Chapultepec, Mexico City, before its global theatrical release on March 1. As per the report from the Indian market tracker Sacnilk.com, the sequel achieved ₹ 0.7 Cr net on its Thursday premiere in India. Subsequently, on Friday, it garnered ₹ 2.75 Cr net, and Saturday witnessed a significant 38.18% surge, resulting in ₹ 3.8 Cr net. The cumulative net collection in India now stands at ₹ 7.25 Cr.

Dune Part 2 Day 2 Overseas Collection set to Conquer $60 million Mark

As per the report from Deadline News Portal, the epic sequel amassed an impressive $20.8 million during its Thursday and Wednesday screenings in the overseas market, including the premiere collection. Subsequently, on Friday, it continued its strong performance, securing an additional $21.6 million. By the end of Friday, the movie had accumulated a staggering $42.4 million in gross overseas, all set to conquer the $60 million mark on its second day.

The highly anticipated sci-fi sequel garnered $12 million during Thursday previews in the domestic market, followed by an impressive $20.2 million on its opening day. By Friday, the film had accumulated $32.2 million domestically. Coupled with the $42.4 million from the overseas market, the total global gross reached $74.6 million, setting the stage for the film to surpass the $100 million mark in global collections on Saturday.
